Award of Merit

AWARD OF MERIT (AOM)
This is the highest honour that can be given to a Beagle in Australia. It is given to beagles who are truly outstanding within the breed and have contributed to it in some way in Australia, as judged by the Beagle fraternity across the country. We are very proud of these dogs.

At Braylodge I am honoured to have achieved this award three times with dogs of quality.

Aust Ch Braylodge Quantas AOM

At the 7th Beagle National in Perth in 2006 Australian Champion Braylodge Quantas was honoured for his contribution to the breed in Australia. As an outstanding progenitor 'Jet' produced quality offspring who 'won a combined minimum of 5 Royal or Speciality challenges' in more than one State or Territory of Australia with a Beagle entry of more than 60.' (Australian National Beagle Council)

In the show ring 'Jet' had outstanding wins under breed specialist both Australian and International winning:

Aust Ch Bonnymead Briar Rose AOM

Rosie was my foundation bitch and is behind all my current dogs .Her wins at Specialties and Royals in both NSW & Victoria qualified her for the Award of Merit. Rosie had only three litters but her progeny have been invaluable in my breeding program.
